28 November 2019
Every November 29th, the world celebrates the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People in accordance with the General Assembly Resolution of 2 December 1977.
The Palestinian-Israeli conflict is one of the most prolonged historical conflicts – that is, more than fifty continuous years – that the contemporary world has known. On the occasion of this day, we will host a discussion to learn more about this issue and approach it from different points of view, taking into consideration recent Palestinian events.
At the Arabic Language Cafe, we will discuss this subject with the following themes:
What are the roots and history of the Palestinian cause?
How do Palestinians live in a state of alienation, and how can they preserve the identity of their country?
What is the future for Palestinian identity under this conflict?
What is the future for this conflict, and is there a peaceful solution to the issue?
