The phenomenon of violence against women and children is of great interest, especially with its increasing intensity in recent times and the seriousness of its repercussions on some of the most sensitive groups in society. Due to its increasing frequency around the world, the subject has garnered the attention of international organizations, including the United Nations. Moroccan society and its voluntary organizations and associations should be required to address this subject and mobilize in order to reduce this phenomenon, in all its manifestations and forms, and by all legitimate ways and means authorized by law.
This is what we will discuss at the Arabic Language Cafe, trying to highlight the role of civil society, especially women’s organizations and institutions interested in children, in reducing the phenomenon of violence against women and children in society through the following points:
• Forms of violence against women and children in society
• The importance of civil society in reducing violence against women and children
• The contribution of civil society to the elimination of violence in all its forms and forms
