The deadline for applying to the Ibn Battuta Scholarship for the Fall 2019 Semester is 30 March 2019 – just a little more than two weeks away.
Studying Arabic in Morocco offers students not only the opportunity to practice daily with native speakers, but also to immerse themselves in a rich, colorful culture in the historic city of Rabat. A thriving coastal town only a few hours away from most major Moroccan cities, Rabat is the ideal location for any and all Arabic students.
Qalam wa Lawh offers Arabic classes year-round, with scholarships available for specific programs. The 14-week Academic Semester Study Abroad program is the perfect way for students to learn the Arabic language and experience the Arabic culture first-hand through a rich cultural program that includes site visits, weekend trips, language partners, and more. Students may also choose from a variety of content courses, including Gender and Society in Morocco and Political Systems in the Maghreb.

Upcoming Arabic scholarships for 2019 and 2020
Applicants may choose from a 14-week semester session (fall or spring), or a 4-week session (summer or winter). Recipients for the merit-based Scholarship are awarded 5 full and 10 partial scholarships based on their dedication to the study of the Arabic language.
